Job summary

Town of Davie, FL is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform electrical and mechanical work on pumps, motors, and related equipment in water and wastewater facilities. Under supervision, you will supervise crew members, train new hires, and maintain records of maintenance activities.

The role requires vocational training and at least three years of industrial experience, with licenses in water/wastewater and CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduation with vocational courses in mechanical and/or electrical.
• Three (3) years of industrial level experience in electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in water/wastewater systems, with some supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair lift stations and associated machinery within Utilities facilities.
• Supervise, instruct, and inspect assigned maintenance personnel.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep records of schedules.
• Review blueprints/engineering specs to locate lines and fixtures.
