Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Payments Business Development professional to acquire, expand and retain Merchant, Treasury Management and Card products. The role emphasizes outside sales and proactive prospecting to grow new business.

In collaboration with Business Banking teams, you will manage client relationships, analyze cash conversion cycles, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency. A Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years in Treasury Management sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to seven years of Treasury Management sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, expand and retain new Payment business including Merchant, Treasury Management and Card products.
• Prospect and contact clients to provide consultative advice on cash conversion cycle and working capital.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to manage and expand existing client relationships.
• Analyze receivables/payables operating cycles for client and prospects.
• Provide product/service recommendations to improve client processes.
• Leverage resources to optimize client experience and service with accuracy.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals and retention objectives.
• Assist in structuring new or modified Payment services and oversee implementation.
• Build community relationships and engage with local organizations.
• Identify business development opportunities to positively impact communities.
