Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent 2 - Justice to lead safety-first operations on a nationwide portfolio of courthouses and corrections facilities. You will plan, manage, and execute complex projects, coordinating materials, equipment, and field teams under JE Dunn’s standards.

You will drive scheduling, quality, and budget controls, mentor staff, and collaborate with owners, architects, and authorities to ensure timely, profitable project completion and alignment with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience; 3+ years field supervision; Lean principles preferred; Experience in Justice / Corrections projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and promote injury-free environment through action and mentoring.
• Manage subcontractors and organize overall job/workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site care, custody and control; lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Prepare and participate in progress and project review meetings and manage project documents.
