Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent 2 - Justice to join our nationwide team, supporting courthouses and corrections facilities for Justice clients.

You will plan, manage and execute complex projects, coordinate subcontractors, safety, schedule, and budgets, while traveling to active job sites across the United States.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, 5+ years in construction, Lean experience and strong leadership are valued; travel required and safety-focused culture emphasized.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years construction experience.
• Experience with Lean principles preferred.
• Prior experience on large or complex Justice/Corrections projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture on site and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors and overall workflow.
• Oversee project teams, QA/QC, and compliance with specifications.
• Develop work plans and coordinate materials/equipment.
• Attend progress and review meetings and communicate with owners.
• Track budgets and costs using project reporting tools.
• Support project closeouts and owner/ Architect coordination.
