Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent 2 - Justice to join our team and support a portfolio of justice projects across the United States. The role demands planning, management and execution of complex projects, with responsibility for material and equipment, people management, and thorough documentation aligned to JE Dunn standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction, with 3+ years of field supervision, and a proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience and 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles is preferred, plus prior experience on Justice/Corrections projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors others to promote an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and coordinates overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs like Safety, Quality and EEO for projects.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates care, custody and control of the project site.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings, and participates in progress meetings.
• Creates, updates and manages project schedules.
