Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Traveling Superintendent 2 - Justice to support courthouses and corrections facilities across the United States. The role focuses on planning, managing, and executing complex projects with a traveling footprint, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget goals are met.

You will lead field teams, coordinate with owners and architects, and drive Lean processes to maximize efficiency. Candidates should have 5+ years in construction and relevant supervision experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience with 3+ years field supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to maintain an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, and project workflow.
• Oversee safety, quality, and EEO programs for projects.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site care, custody, and control; manage meetings and project schedules.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and reporting through PM systems.
• Support procurement and approval processes for materials and equipment.
• Assist in formwork and tool selections for self-perform operations.
