Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of utility-scale solar projects across the U.S. This onsite, high-impact role travels up to 100% and develops future leaders while coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership.

You will manage day-to-day operations, track progress, and learn the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through close-out on projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of Solar or EPC construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering studies and change order requests.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, and regional managers on planning and status.
• Create subcontracts and purchase orders; track job costs and billing.
