Job summary

MasTec seeks a traveling Project Controls Specialist to support utility-scale solar projects across the US. You will monitor schedules, costs, and billing, embedded on site for 8-12 months per project, with per diem and a vehicle allowance.

This role requires strong Excel and Primavera P6 skills, cost control, earned value management, and teamwork with site teams. Up to 100% travel, potential placement anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and relevant experience.
• 2+ years in project controls, scheduling, or cost planning.
• AACEi/PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project schedules and baselines.
• Maintain master construction schedule and data from teams.
• Analyze schedule performance and recommend actions.
• Prepare monthly status reports and forecast revenue.
• Review subcontractor payments and change orders.
• Collaborate with estimating and site management.
