Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Site-based Project Controls Specialist to manage schedules, costs, and financial reporting for utility-scale solar projects across the country. The role is travel-heavy, onsite at project locations, with per diem and vehicle allowance.

You will support planning through execution and partner with site teams to ensure safe, profitable project delivery. Ideal candidates have a CM/Engineering/PM background, 2+ years in project controls, and familiarity with Primavera

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CM/Engineering/PM.
• 2+ years of project controls or cost scheduling experience.
• AACEi/PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor schedule and earned value baselines.
• Maintain the master construction schedule baseline and updates.
• Analyze schedule performance, critical paths, and delays; recommend actions.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly project status reports.
• Track job costs and forecast monthly revenue streams.
• Coordinate with estimating during planning and handoffs.
• Review subcontractor payments and issue change orders.
