Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support utility-scale solar projects nationwide. You will work onsite with field teams, manage day-to-day operations, and help deliver projects on time and within budget.

You’ll coordinate with engineers, estimators, and owners, handling submittals, RFI, contracts, and monthly billing while advancing your leadership skills across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of Solar or EPC construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management.
• Knowledge of safety practices and ability to manage project QA/QC, cost control and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering studies and change order requests.
• Track job costs and predict monthly revenue streams.
• Create subcontracts and purchase orders; issue change orders.
