Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Construction Manager to lead utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the United States. You will oversee site operations, safety, scheduling, and multiple trades, traveling up to 100% with project rotations.

You will manage a team with Construction Managers and Foremen, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality and client satisfaction. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience
• Seven years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
• Previous experience in a supervisory role including overseeing more than three trades on large projects
• Self-perform construction project experience including overseeing large sized field teams on projects with 200+ staff

Responsibilities

• Promote safety policies and campaigns to the project team
• Manage the project team with the PM to foster a respectful, constructive environment
• Oversee construction workers and supervisors including other Construction Managers
• Coordinate activities of Construction Managers, Foremen and subcontractors across trades
• Monitor and direct the progress of the construction site
• Communicate effectively with clients, owners, engineers and large employee groups
