Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to temporarily oversee properties across the Nashville market. You will cover for General Managers on off days and vacations, perform local marketing, staff training, and quality assurance as directed by the Regional Operations Manager.

The role requires 3+ years in management, strong front office knowledge, and the ability to travel frequently. You’ll manage budgets, optimize revenue, and supervise staff to maintain guest satisfaction and cash

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read and interpret information from various reports and internal hotel info.
• General computer proficiency and front office operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed.
• Follow General Manager Daily Flow when acting as a General Manager.
• Assist in recruitment of General Managers and other property staff.
• Training, development and support of property staff.
• Drive sales through local marketing as directed by Regional Operations Manager.
• Ensure and provide excellent guest service.
• Identify and manage repair and maintenance issues.
• Travel and/or overnight stay will be required.
