Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to cover a property on short-term assignments and provide leadership across the market. You will support General Managers, oversee guest service, drive local marketing, and ensure financial performance through cost control.

The role requires travel to multiple properties, strong leadership, and the ability to manage busy operations while maintaining service standards.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read reports and forecast revenue and labor costs.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with front office operations.
• Knowledge of front office operations, guest relations and upselling techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed.
• Follow established General Manager daily flow and procedures.
• Develop expertise on computer operating systems and software.
• Assist in recruiting General Managers and staff; provide training and support.
• Drive sales through local marketing and guest service excellence.
• Identify and address maintenance, safety, and policy issues promptly.
• Travel to properties within the market; overnight stays may be required.
