Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to cover operations at assigned properties, stepping in for the GM during their absence. The role includes staff training, local marketing, and ensuring guest satisfaction across locations.

The position requires extensive travel (about 90% of the time) within the market, long hours, and readiness to handle night audits and emergencies as directed by the Regional Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Read, write, and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Strong math skills to prepare forecasts, reports, and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in the absence of a General Manager.
• Develop expertise on computer operating systems and front office operations.
• Recruit, train, and support property staff; drive local marketing and sales calls.
• Monitor guest services, repairs, maintenance, and life/safety issues.
• Travel 90% within the market and potentially stay overnight.
