Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to cover operations at individual properties and provide short-term assignments across the market. You will manage front desk and staff, drive local marketing, and ensure guest satisfaction while meeting budgets and operating costs.

Travel 90% of the time to other properties and stay overnight as needed. Minimum 3 years in management with supervisory experience is expected, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret various reports and internal hotel information.
• Sufficient mathematical skills to prepare forecasts and reports and to manage revenue and labor costs.
• General computer proficiency and front office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operates properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed.
• Follows General Manager Daily Flow when acting as a General Manager.
• Develop expertise on computer operating systems.
• Assist in recruitment and training of staff.
• Drive sales through local marketing and calls.
• Ensure excellent guest service and address guest concerns.
• Identify and manage repair and maintenance issues.
• Travel and overnight stays required.
