Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to oversee operations at assigned properties in the absence of a General Manager. You will cover shifts, train staff, drive local marketing efforts, and ensure guest satisfaction across the market.

This role requires travel to multiple properties, managing budgets, and maintaining high service standards. A valid driver’s license and strong front office knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Read, speak, write English proficiently for guest and staff communication.
• Ability to interpret reports and forecast occupancy and labor costs.
• Strong computer proficiency and front office operations knowledge.
• Ability to manage and train staff across multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in GM’s absence as needed.
• Follow daily GM flow while acting as GM.
• Develop expertise on hotel computer systems.
• Assist in recruitment and training of property staff.
• Drive sales via local marketing and guest service excellence.
• Identify and address maintenance and life/safety issues.
• Monitor market competitors and manage costs to meet budgets.
• Travel and overnight stays required across properties.
