Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to cover assigned properties across the market, stepping in for operations during GMs’ absences and vacations. This role requires hands-on leadership, guest service excellence, and ongoing staff development.

You will drive local marketing, oversee front office operations, monitor budgets, and ensure safety and quality across properties. Frequent travel and overnight stays are expected to support our growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests, staff, and handle administrative duties.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret information found in reports and internal hotel information.
• Sufficient mathematical skills to forecast, calculate room revenue, occupancy, and labor costs.
• General computer proficiency and familiarity with front office operations.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time to other properties within the market and overnight stays.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management; supervisory experience.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed.
• Travel to assigned properties to provide coverage and leadership.
