Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead and support projects nationwide in the justice and corrections sector. You will drive safety culture, manage cost and schedule, and coordinate with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver complex facilities.

In this role you will build relationships, implement Lean processes, and ensure successful project execution from preconstruction through closeout while traveling as needed across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Prior experience on large/complex Justice / Corrections projects (Preferred).
• Willingness to travel/relocation for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and daily injury-free practices on projects.
• Oversees preconstruction activities including plan and buying out subcontractors.
• Coordinates submittals, shop drawings, and material pricing with stakeholders.
• Prepares and maintains project schedules and manages budgets and cost reporting.
• Drives change management, risk analysis, and regular status reporting to stakeholders.
