Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead complex court and corrections projects across the United States. You will drive safety culture, manage preconstruction activities, subcontracts, schedules, and cost controls while coordinating with clients, design teams and subcontractors.

The role requires 5+ years of construction management experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Broad experience leading complex construction projects including budgets and schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
• Hands-on leadership of project teams and safety culture across sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to a zero-incident environment.
• Manage prestart process and bid package development.
• Coordinate buyout, subcontracts, and schedule with stakeholders.
• Oversee submittal processes and coordination with architects/engineers.
• Develop and maintain project schedule and Lean-based workflows.
• Monitor costs, budgets and monthly forecasts.
