Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead complex courthouse and corrections projects across the United States. You will oversee preconstruction through project closeout, coordinating with clients, designers, subs, and internal teams.

You’ll drive safety culture, manage schedules and budgets, and apply Lean principles to deliver on-time, on-budget results for Justice clients while building lasting relationships and supporting project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience, preferably on justice/corrections projects.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of safety culture across the project and mentor staff.
• Manage prestart and buyout processes, bid packages, and subcontractor coordination.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; monitor costs and resources with Lean principles.
• Prepare change requests, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Interface with owners, design teams, subs, and vendors to ensure project success.
