Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead nationwide court and corrections projects. You will direct project scope, schedule, safety, and coordination with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

You will build relationships, manage risk, and drive value through Lean methods while supporting project leaders and field teams throughout the lifecycle. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Prior experience working on large or complex Justice / Corrections construction projects (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to promote an injury-free environment.
• Manage prestart process and preconstruction activities.
• Coordinate pricing, scope, and subcontractor bidding.
• Oversee submittal process and ensure timely responses to architects/engineers.
• Develop and manage project schedule and Lean initiatives.
• Prepare monthly cost and margin forecasts and assist budget development.
