Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, a leading national contractor, seeks a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to support a portfolio of courthouses and corrections facilities across the United States.

You will guide project teams, oversee preconstruction, submittals, schedules, and cost performance while building strong client and design-team relationships and applying Lean principles to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Prior experience on large Justice / Corrections projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment across the project.
• Manages the JE Dunn prestart process and supports preconstruction activities.
• Coordinates bid packages, scope development, scheduling, and buyout processes.
• Leads subcontractor pricing, change management, and submittal reviews with teams.
• Develops and updates project schedule using Lean principles and delivers resource plans.
• Communicates with stakeholders and manages budget, cost control, and profitability.
