Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead complex justice projects across the United States. You will oversee project direction with the Project Superintendent, build client and subcontractor relationships, and manage safety, scheduling, cost, and procurement in a dynamic traveling role.

The position emphasizes leadership, preconstruction coordination, and close collaboration with design teams and suppliers to deliver efficient, safe facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction-related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience on large Justice/Corrections projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage prestart and preconstruction activities.
• Coordinate buyout, pricing, and subcontractor selection.
• Oversee submittals, drawings, and shop drawings with architects/engineers.
• Coordinate pricing with logistics and subcontractors.
• Lead meetings and project reviews; monitor cost and schedule.
• Develop and update project schedules; manage resources.
