Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead high-voltage transmission and distribution projects from the El Paso, TX team. You will oversee planning, budgeting, staffing, subcontractor management, safety and quality across projects nationwide.

This traveling role requires strong leadership and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of PM experience, excellent communication, and a Bachelor’s in

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of project management experience in high‑voltage electric transmission and distribution or related construction fields.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project coordination software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business; PMP preferred.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and manage budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain project SOVs, track progress, and prepare billing packages.
• Oversee subcontracts, vendor documentation, and changes to agreements.
• Monitor cost reporting, forecast costs, and ensure schedule adherence.
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and lead meetings with subcontractors and engineers.
