Summit Line Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, directing, and coordinating high-voltage electric transmission, substation, and distribution construction projects across the country.

This traveling role is based in the El Paso, TX area, with opportunities to work from multiple offices and project sites across the western region. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: bachelor's degree or trade-school certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate high-voltage transmission, substation, and distribution projects.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, staffing, and coordinate subcontractors.
• Submit locates, manage schedule with customers, and review project documents.
• Prepare and submit billing packages and manage costs.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Communicate with supervisors, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance across projects.
