Summit Line Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc., is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our El Paso, TX team. The role oversees planning, directing, and coordinating high-voltage transmission and distribution projects across the country, with a focus on safety, schedule, budgeting, staffing, and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in high-voltage electric transmission and distribution or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; project software preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business; advanced degree or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and manage budget for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Maintain Schedule of Values (SOV) and update based on production; prepare billing packages.
• Coordinate pre-construction tasks including bid prep and contract review.
• Provide cost forecasting and monthly cost-to-complete reporting.
• Develop and track submittals and RFIs; manage invoices and payments.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules; monitor labor, material, and subcontractor reporting.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and ensure communication of plans and issues.
• Oversee material trackers and ensure project is built on schedule and within budget.
