Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a national traveling role, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate high-voltage transmission and substation projects. The position travels within the El Paso, TX area, overseeing budgets, schedules, staffing, and safety in coordination with field operations.

The ideal candidate has a construction management/engineering/business degree or relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Multi-tasking ability to handle various tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or business, or a trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the lifecycle of a project.
• Track customer work authorizations and manage project documents.
• Coordinate project schedule with field operations and customers.
• Prepare billing packages and manage budget against forecast.
