Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the El Paso, TX team to oversee nationwide high-voltage transmission and distribution projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and subcontractor management. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely execution.

This traveling position requires strong leadership, budgeting, cost reporting, and client communication, with a focus on developing schedules, managing submittals, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or business; PMP preferred.
• 5–7 years PM experience in high-voltage transmission/electrical construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; project software experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; highly adaptable.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget planning for labor, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Keep costs within forecast and implement savings.
• Develop and manage Schedule of Values and billing packages.
• Assist in pre-construction efforts incl. bid review and planning.
• Provide cost forecasting and progress reporting.
• Create and maintain project submittals and RFIs.
• Review cost reports to reduce costs while maintaining productivity.
• Oversee invoicing for completed scope.
• Maintain comprehensive project schedules reflecting scope.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and clients.
