Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services subsidiary, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for high-voltage transmission, substation, and distribution projects. The traveling role covers sites nationwide, with base in the El Paso, TX area.

You will assist in planning, directing, and coordinating project activities, schedules, budgets, staffing, and subcontractors. Strong Excel, communication, and adaptability are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or business, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate high-voltage transmission, substation, and distribution projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with field operations, customers, and vendors for schedule and scope.
• Prepare billing packages and track project costs against forecasts.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
