Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead safety, preconstruction, buyout, and subcontracting on courthouses and corrections projects across the U.S. You will manage submittals, schedules, budgets, and key client relationships, supported by the project superintendent.

You will build and sustain client and design-team relations, oversee risk, and drive project success within JE Dunn’s standards, with frequent travel and collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience on large justice/corrections projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and incident investigations.
• Manage prestart and preconstruction processes.
• Coordinate buyout, pricing, and subcontracting.
• Manage submittal schedule and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with logistics for pricing of materials.
• Prepare monthly cost/margin forecasts and budgets.
• Lead project meetings and closeout.
