Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead complex courthouse and corrections projects nationwide. You will oversee safety, preconstruction, subcontractor buyout, and schedule development while coordinating with owners, design teams and vendors.

You will manage risk, cost control and reporting, working with a project team across multiple sites, ensuring quality and timely execution while upholding JE Dunn’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Experience on large or complex Justice/Corrections projects preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project scope, schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and injury-free environment.
• Manages preconstruction and buyout processes, including pricing and subcontractor selection.
• Coordinates submittals, shop drawings and samples; ensures timely approvals.
• Monitors project schedule, materials, labor and procurement to meet deadlines.
• Provides regular reporting on status and profitability; manages change requests.
