Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager 1 - Justice to lead complex courthouses and corrections facilities nationwide. You will oversee project direction with the Superintendent, build client relationships, and supervise subcontractors within JE Dunn’s safety and quality standards.

You’ll coordinate preconstruction activities, manage submittals and change orders, and drive on-time, on-budget project delivery through Lean processes and strong collaboration with design teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage prestart and preconstruction processes including takeoff and bid packages.
• Coordinate submittals, shop drawings and approvals with architects/engineers.
• Lead subcontractor pricing, change requests and buyout scheduling.
• Develop and maintain project schedule with Lean principles; manage resources.
• Provide regular project status reports and financial forecasts.
• Support project closeout with documentation and warranties.
