Layton Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers on a national project. Relocation to the project site is required as the location shown reflects the project needs, not the home office.

You will review plans, shop drawings, and submittals, assist in bidding and scoping for trade contractors, and help maintain schedules and reports. Strong communication and Word/Excel proficiency preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 1+ year of experience with a commercial general contractor or internship preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Willingness to adapt plans to meet goals.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Project Managers to ensure work meets plans and specifications.
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals for compliance.
• Publishes weekly progress reports and coordinates information flow.
• Updates project schedules and milestones as needed.
• Assists in bidding and developing scope of work for trade contractors.
• Coordinate field procedures and safety requirements with the superintendent.
