Layton Construction seeks a Project Engineer to join our nationwide operations. This role requires relocation to the project site to ensure installations align with plans and specifications. You will support Project Managers with shop drawings, schedules, and coordination across teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 1+ year of GC experience. Proficiency in Word/Excel and strong communication are essential for success in fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year of experience with a commercial general contractor or related internship preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; clear, structured writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers to ensure work installed meets plans and specs.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance and constructability.
• Publish weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Update project schedules and assist in bidding and scope development for trades.
• Coordinate with superintendent on milestones, shop drawings, and material lists.
