Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity. The PEC collaborates with clinical teams and reports to the Clinic Manager, supported by the PES.

Responsibilities include patient registration, insurance verification, patient education on financial options, and coordinating with revenue cycle teams to optimize clinic performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Excellent customer service, proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel, HIPAA compliance awareness.
• Work Experience: 1-2 years of customer service; 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues.
• Accurately complete patient intake, registration, and insurance verification.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and monitor KPIs.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
