Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to manage patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance. The PEC reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams and the PES.

Responsibilities include registering patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and using EMR systems to monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with healthcare payments and insurance basics preferred.
• HIPAA data privacy and compliance knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake, demographic verification, and insurance eligibility verification.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and help meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and support improvements.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes and plans of care with referrals.
• Support clinic engagement through patient milestones and community activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training for front-office operations.
• Coordinate events with the clinical team; provide Rehab Aide cross-training on front-office duties.
