Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front‑office experience. The role collaborates with clinical teams and reports to the Clinic Manager, with support from the PES.

The PEC will manage registrations, verify insurance, educate patients on payments, and support revenue cycle performance, while using EMR systems and dashboards to monitor KPIs and improve data integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and scheduling platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and patient billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high‑quality front‑office experience for patients.
• Complete patient intake, registration, insurance verification, and eligibility checks.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time‑of‑service payments and support revenue cycle targets.
• Coordinate scheduling to optimize provider availability and access.
• Work with PES, Billing, and Clinical teams to resolve issues.
