Athletico Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. The PEC will support compliance, data integrity, and revenue cycle performance while collaborating with clinic leadership and PES.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager and emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, EMR proficiency, and effective patient communication.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume, patient-facing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients, resolving issues, and ensuring positive interactions.
• Complete patient intake/registration with demographics, insurance eligibility, and authorizations.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Track KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
