Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will collaborate with clinical teams and report to the Clinic Manager, with support from the Patient Experience Specialist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with healthcare payments and insurance benefits preferred.
• 1-2 years in customer service; 1-2 years healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming front-office experience and resolve issues promptly.
• Complete patient intake/registration with accuracy and compliance.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Coordinate scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops teams as needed.
• Utilize EMR systems to track patient outcomes and data integrity.
