Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will support data integrity, compliance, and revenue cycle performance while collaborating with clinical teams and PES.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager and involves working with EMR systems, scheduling tools, and ongoing cross-training. Local travel is required across specified locations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EMR/EHR systems is expected.
• Experience with healthcare insurance verification and patient payments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience with warm patient greetings and issue resolution.
• Complete patient intake and registration, verify demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets to support revenue cycle.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification, and patient satisfaction.
