Job summary

Athletico seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front‑office experience. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams while receiving support from the PES.

The PEC will handle registration, eligibility, and payment collection, guiding patients through portals and tools to improve transparency and access while upholding data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with healthcare benefits and payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a warm front‑office experience.
• Complete patient intake, registration, and eligibility checks.
• Explain financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect payments and monitor collection targets.
• Coordinate clinic scheduling and liaise with clinical teams.
• Use EMR/EHR systems to track data and reports.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data privacy.
