Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, a national contractor with a rich history, seeks a Traveling Superintendent 2 - Justice to support a growing portfolio of justice projects across the United States. You will lead site operations on complex courthouses and correctional facilities, coordinating safety, quality, and subcontractor activities while traveling to project sites.

This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and cost control, with hands-on responsibility for self-perform work, field staffing,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles is preferred.
• Prior experience on Justice/Corrections projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to ensure a safe job site.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees budgeting, cost reporting and project closeouts.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates site care, material and equipment management.
• Leads meetings and communicates project information to owners and teams.
