Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking a Generator Mechanic/Service Technician to service and repair whole-home standby generators.

You will travel to customer residences using our company vehicle and perform scheduled maintenance and repairs, applying electrical and mechanical knowledge. You will read manuals and diagrams, communicate clearly with customers, document services in our software, and follow safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' residences using company vehicle.
• Communicate arrival times, work performed, and issues resolved to customers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on home standby generators.
• Follow manuals, diagrams, and procedures during repairs.
• Test and operate automatic transfer switches.
• Document services performed in electronic software system.
• Adhere to all safety practices and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
