Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking a Generator Mechanic/Service Technician to travel to customer residences to repair and maintain whole-home standby generators. You will use a company vehicle and communicate with customers to ensure quality service and safety.

Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, ability to read manuals and blueprints, and commitment to safety are essential. The role involves regular field work from 8 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday, with adjustments as needed for weather or

• Reading and comprehension skills are required to understand technical manuals, electrical wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer residences using company vehicle to perform repair and maintenance on home generators.
• Communicate arrival times, work performed, and issues resolved with customers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on home generators.
• Follow manuals, diagrams, blueprints, and procedures.
• Test, troubleshoot, and operate automatic transfer switches.
• Document services in the electronic system.
• Adhere to safety practices and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
