Athletico Physical Therapy seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure precise patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data and supporting revenue-cycle performance. Reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams, receiving support from the PES.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate scheduling, and strong EMR utilization to improve patient experiences and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and scheduling platforms; ability to navigate dashboard.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accurate demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues and escalate when needed.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and support improvements.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources in a timely manner.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community-building activities with clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training to maintain proficiency.
• Organize activities with clinical team (e.g., goal celebrations, holidays).
• Provide Rehab Aide cross-training on front office duties.
