Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering an exceptional front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity. You will collaborate with clinical teams and receive support from the PES.

The role includes coordinating patient communications, supporting revenue cycle metrics, and participating in ongoing training to maintain front-office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accuracy and compliance.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability and access.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track data and improve processes.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources accurately.
