Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity. This role collaborates with the Clinic Manager and clinical teams across multiple locations.

You will support revenue cycle performance by handling scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education on payments and digital tools, contributing to high patient satisfaction and smooth

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge: Proficient in customer service, EMR/EHR systems, and insurance verification.
• Experience: 1-2 years in healthcare administration or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a positive front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake/registration with demographics, insurance eligibility, and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payments, and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and ensure provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and data integrity.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources promptly.
• Organize patient milestones and community-building activities with clinical staff.
• Participate in training and cross-training to maintain front-office proficiency.
