Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to deliver a seamless front-office experience, manage patient intake and registration, and educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools. You will support revenue cycle performance and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure compliant, data-driven workflows.

Strong focus on customer service, EMR proficiency, and knowledge of insurance verification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients and resolving issues.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools to improve engagement.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and access.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing and Clinical Operations to resolve complex issues.
