Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front‑office experience while safeguarding data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager and partners with the clinical team, PES, and other departments to resolve insurance and scheduling issues and deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of customer service required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure a seamless front‑office experience.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including demographics and eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time‑of‑service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical teams to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems and dashboards for data accuracy.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress notes to referral sources.
• Support clinic engagement with patient milestone celebrations and community activities.
