Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data integrity. The role collaborates with clinical teams and reports to the Clinic Manager, with support from the Patient Experience Specialist.

The PEC will manage scheduling, verify eligibility, educate patients on payments and digital tools, and contribute to improved patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates outstanding customer service and issue resolution in a high-volume setting.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage is preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing patient payments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless front-office experience with warm greetings and positive interactions.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accurate demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets to support revenue cycle.
